Cotton embodies who Oton and Sol both wished Adomi could have been as a kid; very free, curious, and unbounded by self restraint—only to an extreme level. Cotton starts out way too careless and unmindful of consequences, but later calms into a manageable personality. Cotton has no interest in any of the previous lwa associated with them after doing so.
