NEPHTALIA/NEPTUNE - SHE/EY -a prophet that harmonizes the coming of times and tragedies with her songs her songs have always been right, and people have come to think of em to be a doom bringer rather than a predictor
ey have travelling performances with no particular location or time in mind.... she performs in front of everyone and no one at the same time
but no matter who does or doesnt witness her song everyone comes to know it regardless..... her words lace the earth through the undervein ... her songs WILL be heard even as people try to drown it out with bells and drums
i think eir songs of peace are like flutes/various woodwinds and acousticsand delayed percussions... and eir songs of calamity are metal drums and discordant violin strings although most of the percussion comes from the intense footwork and the cries of the crowd if any and with eir songs of peace she has the time to sound it all out and weave it into the music. but her songs of calamity only last for so long before ey're forced to leave also not a vision user but the land and earth is more inclined towards her anything like moving trippable roots out of her way or supporting her weight with the wind during her performance
maybe something similar in nature to the endsinger/walpurgis where it is just INEVITABLE. and the travellers fight against it only pushes it back until it is inevitably time to fight it again i sort of just want to steal the name a little and the concept because the endsinger is so coolsorry
still thinking abt her boss design but i want em to likeeeeee the dots and markings on their face connect to make a full circle... and it starts to glow and theres a downwards facing crescent moon.... and eir halo turns into multiple phases..... and behind her are the silhouettes of the prophets that came before her............. and she uses her tarot cards for attacks that represent the user behind them (the hermit - enclosing water attack, the world - arena wide status effect, etc) and the arena music is a mix between church bells and symphonical gongs and a choir (the previous prophets) that dont sing for help but instead sing of the inevitable future
there is no pleading for forgiveness or peace......... only songs of dejection and nihilism........
the cycle will always come back.... there is no defeating nephtalia, only pushing her back far enough so that you can rest before the next fight inevitably begins......
I need to think of who the other prophets were too cuz i dont want it like. The Avatar where theres can only be one..... but there are like..... thousands of prophets............
and inwant to steal walpurgis.... and it was just common, for prophets to die in misery.... that was just the life u get when u can also see the future..... so there are thousands of them... and theyre all screaming that THE END IS COMING... and everyone listens but no one helps....
itd be cool to have prophets/adjacent stuff from different regions. but itd be saur hard
