Sabado/Samedi/Saturday; Trickster deity of the undead: Does not hold a card(but many assume they do depicting saturday celebrations.) Can only appear physically via deals with mortals where they can possess the mortal for one assigned night.

They are loosely based on Baron Samedi; a very popular loa in haitian vodou (like doctor facilier from the princess and the frog!!!!!!)

Samedi means Saturday in creole, and Sabado is Saturday in Spanish. In Alluvien, Sabado is called any of these.

Sabado does not have a direct mortal identity, but likes to appear in the mortal and monster realms as often as possible. They can do so by looking like a shadow of someone nearby, wispy and flat on whatever surface they’re current on.

Or, even better, they can make a deal with another to borrow their body for a day or more, depending on the deal. Sabado is known for these deals, as they often take way more advantage of their end than the others.

Sabado does not have an appearance of their own, only the body or shadow of someone else, so if one wants to depict Sabado somehow, they often use whatever body they may have seen Sabado in for sure. or etc. They will likely add white skull paint however as Sabado as a liking to wearing it.

During Cursed Erzulie

When Erzulie was cursed, and The World card reversed, Sabado could switch between bodies without agreement nor time limit; even possessing Erzulies body herself. They could make the dead rise in large numbers and force them all to dance—Sabado did not have a morality limit one could say.

Sabado believes no one should have to lay in rest forever, and instead should be able to celebrate and party endlessly.
